These works extend those done with the previous version of the software GA1. Unlike those works the GA2 drawings are fully self-organizing on both the macro and microstructural levels. The overall macrostructure of the drawing is determined by a reaction-diffusion system of virtual chemistry. Such systems are not unlike those that, in nature, determine the patterns on seashells and animal fur. The microstructure is determined by a genetic system as described in the "lightbox drawings" section of this portfolio. This particular drawing is rendered on Duratrans and mounted in an industrial lightbox.
